The U.S. and Islamist Education

I'm scheduled to be on Ken Hamblin's radio show this afternoon at 2:00pm Pacific Time to talk about my upcoming Cato Institute paper. The topic, mentioned in an earlier blog entry, is U.S. policy toward radical Islamist education in developing countries. In particular, I'll be suggesting that our current strategy for mitigating extremist education is unlikely to succeed and is incompatible with American ideals. I'll also propose some more promising alternatives.
