Beating sense into the day's news

Will the Web Make Us Healthy?

By now you've heard about the new health guidelines: Adults should exercise an hour a day, most days of the week, if they don't want to pack on the pounds. Those trying to lose weight have to bump that up to an hour and a half.

Yikes.

Finding the willpower to do it regularly is tough enough, but if you also face logistical problems like inflexible work hours and no proximity to a gym, you've really had it.

But what about tele-commuters (to pull that now archaic phrase out of my... hat)? If you work at home the logistical problems are all but licked (unless of course you're taking care of a little-one like some people we know).

If you're supremely lucky and have a little extra space in the basement or garage, go and git yerself one of these here toys. But be sure it's water-filled.

In the world of working out, there is nothing like it.
