With the putative aim of benefitting consumers, the EU has required Microsoft to offer a version of Windows without its Media Player. Microsoft has now complied.
Hooray!
Now European consumers can buy a new version of Windows with fewer features for, in all likelihood, the same price as the full version!
Hey, EU, stop "helping" us.
