UPDATE (Sat, 10:34pm, PT):
Watching CNN. Voters in line in Baquba so happy that their singing and cheering was drowning out the CNN reporter on the scene. The most dramatic aspect of this scene? The obvious joy on the faces of the Iraqi voters was so infectious that both CNN reporters -- the one on site and the one in the studio -- were both grinning by the end of their conversation. Sure, the snide grimaces will return in a day or two, but for now it's nice to see that even CNN reporters can appreciate the wondrous achievement of free, contested elections in the Arab world -- even if they were made possible by a U.S.-led military coalition.
