Duelling announcements from the two satellite radio companies yesterday: Sirius will be an option in some Mercedes and Jag models, XM will come standard in every model of Hyundai. If you were a Satellite broadcaster, which announcement would you want for your firm? Would it affect your decision to know that Hyundai sells about half a million cars a year?
I don't know how long it will last, but XM has managed to out-manage Sirius almost every step of the way, while getting better reviews from the critics as well.
If those trends continue, XM is going to have a lot of happy customers and stock-holders.
