UK vs. U.S. Investor Philosophies
While perusing the new blog by my friend Amit Ghate, I came across this interesting post. I'm not sure if the exchange in question is genuine, but it sure makes for an entertaining read!

Hey Andrew,
The exchange is real. Dan Loeb is notorious for such comments, often making them public as part of his SEC filings. See this article for example http://www.newyorker.com/talk/content/articles/050418ta_talk_mcgrath (the email exchange is referenced at the end).
