Beating sense into the day's news

Please, we prefer "People of Anger"

The OED defines a terrorist as "any one who attempts to further his views by a system of coercive intimidation."

Reuters, the CBC, and the BBC prefer not to use the word terrorist to describe people who systematically murder civilians to advance their Islamo-fascist cause. Clearly, their problem isn't that "terrorist" is the wrong word. Their problem is that it's the right one, which is to say it too-fully captures the wickedness of the perpetrators. They want something less descriptive and less specific, something that won't make the perps sound so bad.

Well, here's a suggestion for them from erstwhile Gantelope contributor Deus ex Macrame: "People of Anger."

Izzat kinder and gentler enough for you Reuters/CBC/BBC types out there?
